It's Titanic

Our friend, Lex Parker, is working on a new project in Niagara Falls.  It is the interactive Titanic museum.  The press release went out in late January, so there are many articles on it.  The Canada Press article is here, and Lex's Facebook announcement is here.  His concept is shown in the articles - and its distinction is that the Titanic appears to be sailing through the building.  I've included the picture from Lex's Facebook page so you can marvel at the creativity.

We checked the snow drops in the garden yesterday - they aren't blooming, but there are little white buds above the ground.  They are ready.

I Didn't Know What Time It Was

Our title today is a song title by Rogers and Hart. On Saturday I stopped at Moyer Road in Vineland to photograph the solitary oak tree.  I've taken this tree's portrait for a while now and there are two pictures of it - one of these pictures is from December and one from Saturday.  They seem indistinguishable to me.  It will be interesting to see how spring unfolds on the landscape and shows its presence.

Spring Starts

Spring has started for me.  The snow drops and witch hazel are blooming in my garden and gardens in Grimsby and St. Catharines.  I expect Toronto gardens are abloom with these welcome flowers too.  So to kick off this best of seasons, here are a few 'welcome to spring' images.
